lack of chemistry
hello people.
thanks to all those who showed my concern about my eye injury! i know its really retarded to be able to cut your eye with soft lens. BUT it does happen! so BEWARE all contact-lens users!
and the cut is something like a paper cut. so you can IMAGINE the PAIN. ouch.
anyways, today was a pretty short day, got over my bloody chemistry test. i was surprised by the fact that with my-last-min-mugging, i still managed to understand the questions of the test, and manage to complete ALL of them, BUT screwed them up with silly mistakes due to the lack of understanding of the concepts. wtf.
and TN conveniently pin-pointed people about the silly mistakes they made in the test, i was one of them, but something hilarious happened.
TN: deon! qns 4 is a give-away question, and you got ZERO for it! how is that possible? Bond energies require you to add them up, and yet you subtracted the values!
Deon: Sir, is it only qns 4b) ZERO, or the whole thing is ZERO marks?
TN: THE WHOLE THING IS ZERO.
Deon: ...
TN: WAIT! 4a) is correct, 4b) is ZERO.
Deon: *phew. "..."
and i agree with sean, he shouldnt have read ou the names of the people who he found mistakes with in the test paper. its kinda degrading. but as he puts it: he is FRUSTRATED with us.
i MIGHT get a border-line pass for the chem test if i am lucky. oh-well.
ended the day with council meeting. its gonna be a madness of council duties from next week onwards. FOA, UNIFORM DAY, X-COUNTRY, ONE-ACS..
i'm looking forward to ONE-ACS. and yes, i love wearing the council uniform. haha. :)
i'm tied down, i dont know how to solve the problem between us. you're not helping either. like i said, its not about me, neither is it about you, its about US.
